How should an architecture practice write a press release?

The short answer

Lead with what is new, add the design idea in two sentences, then facts, quotes, images and credits — one page, no adjectives.

Start with the news: a completed building, an award, an appointment. Follow with the design idea in plain language, then the facts — location, area, programme, team, timeline — plus one short quote.

Attach a small selection of high-resolution images with a caption sheet and a credit line. Editors rarely chase missing assets, so completeness decides whether the release is used.
